扶輪徽章可以印在旗幟上、雕刻在金屬獎牌上、以及用在其他數千種用途上，它是一種常見的象徵，可引起扶輪社員的榮譽感並獲得非扶輪社員的尊敬。在全世界各地，藍色及金黃色構成的齒輪徽章代表社區參與、國際親善、以及服務。

Emblazoned on banners, cast into metal plaques, displayed on Web sites, and used in thousands of other ways, the Rotary emblem is a familiar symbol that evokes pride from Rotarians and respect from non-Rotarians. Around the world, the blue and gold gearwheel represents community involvement, international goodwill, and service.

國際扶輪鼓勵扶輪社及地區使用扶輪徽章及名稱作為很有用的工具，來推廣活動、吸收新社員、以及增進大眾對扶輪組織的瞭解。因為扶輪徽章及名稱是登記在案的商標，在全世界受到國際扶輪的保護，因此必須正確使用，才能確保扶輪社員們能在未來繼續保有這些商標的使用權。

Rotary International encourages clubs and districts to use the Rotary emblem and name as powerful tools to promote activities, attract new members, and increase awareness of the organization. Because the Rotary emblem and name are registered trademarks, protected throughout the world by RI, it is important that they are used correctly, to ensure that Rotarians maintain the right to use these trademarks well into the future.

保持扶輪徽章的完整性的方法之一就是利用國際扶輪總部及國際辦事處的許多成品，例如各種大小的扶輪徽章照相製版範本。正式的扶輪徽章可從國際扶輪網站www.rotary.org.下載。保護徽章的價值就是只向授權廠商購買扶輪商品，授權廠商名單請參考公式名錄綠色部份以及國際扶輪網站。

One way to preserve the integrity of the Rotary emblem is to take advantage of the many products available from RI World Headquarters and the international offices, such as sheets of camera-ready examples of the Rotary emblem in various sizes. The official Rotary emblem can be downloaded from the RI Web site. Protecting the value of the emblem also means purchasing Rotary merchandise only from licensed vendors, who are listed in the green pages of the Official Directory and on the RI Web site.

為了努力保護扶輪商標以保障全世界扶輪社員的權益，國際扶輪理事會訂立了詳細的扶輪徽章及名稱使用準則，以規範所有商品、推廣資料、及出版品包括網域名稱及網站之使用扶輪徽章及名稱。扶輪社員可參考國際扶輪網站以進一步詳細瞭解此準則，或參考「扶輪政策彙編」(Rotary Code of Policies)或「程序手冊」，這樣才能有信心且有榮譽感地使用扶輪名稱及徽章。

In an effort to protect the trademarks for the benefit of Rotarians worldwide, the RI Board of Directors has established detailed guidelines for their use on all merchandise, promotional materials, and publications, including domain names and Web sites. Rotarians can learn more about these guidelines on the RI Web site or by consulting the Rotary Code of Policies or the Manual of Procedure, so that they can use Rotary's name and emblem with confidence as well as pride.

墨西哥可利馬(Colima)的每一棟簡易住所都掛著刻有扶輪齒輪及計畫贊助者名稱的金屬牌，這些住宅是用扶輪基金會低成本住所配合獎助金興建的。基金會協助興建了許多住所，沒有任何一棟在2003年1月21日可利馬地震中受損。

A plaque with the Rotary gearwheel and names of project sponsors is affixed to each shelter in Colima, Mexico, that was built with a Rotary Foundation Matching Grant for low-cost shelters. None of the many shelters erected with Foundation help were damaged in the 21 January 2003 earthquake in Colima.
